I've lost count of the number of albums the Glee cast have
released as their McKinley High alter-egos, but regardless of your personal
preferences, the dent every single release has made on the charts is
undeniable.
This graduation album features suitably nostalgic and
predictably ‘big’ tunes, including a blasting cover of Florence and the
Machine’s Shake it Out and a rip-roaring ensemble performance of That’s What
Makes You Beautiful, from the glee club boys.
This album lacks the inspired ‘mash-ups’ of previous
seasons, but once again showcases vocals that beggar belief and a good, strong
dose of aural happy pills.
