Emelie Sande first gained notoriety when she lent her vocals
on the singles of fellow Londoners Chipmunk and Professor Green, but has since
stormed the charts all by herself, with her debut album Our Version of Events.
Delicately mixing RnB and pop, Sande’s extraordinary song
writing ability explains why she has been tasked with penning hits for the
likes of Cheryl Cole and Leona Lewis in the past.
Sande won the Critics Choice award and was nominated in the
Breakthrough Artist category at the Brit Awards last week and if this album is
anything to go by, her star will continue to rise in 2012.
