Steve Coogan has finally placated
patient, long-time fans by reviving his character, Alan Partridge, in
this fly-on-the-wall mokumentary series, Mid Morning Matters.
Alan is back on the radio with a weekly
slot on North Norfolk Digital, where his mid-morning discussions on
important matters of the day are beamed via webcam from his studio
for the viewing pleasure of his many, many listeners.
Coogan’s sidekick this time around is
Edinburgh Comedy Award winner, Tim Key, whose relentless political
incorrectness drives Alan to find a replacement producer in the (much
too young and attractive) Zoe.
Cue Alan’s trademark cringeworthy
attempts at romantic advances and a suitably awkward finale when Zoe
too, calls time on her role as the sports-coat loving DJ’s
producer.
