The wait has been horrendous but, just
as the clocks go back, your money starts going on things for other
people, leaving you with no choice but to stay in and rely on the
good people in the television production industry to entertain you,
Peep Show has returned to Channel 4.
We revisit Mark and Jeremy exactly
where we left them, on New Year’s Eve, with Mark asking his
adorably geeky, battle re-enacting girlfriend, Dobby, to move in with
him.
Jeremy, of course, has other ideas, and
while Mark’s patience is tested in waiting for him to move out,
Jeremy turns to a therapist when he realises his life has amounted to
very little to date.
Just as Jeremy’s psychological
intervention and Mark’s new job seem to put the car-crash pair back
on the right path, an unforeseen tragedy sets them back on a dark,
downward spiral.
