Arthur Christmas was the runaway family
hit of Christmas 2011 and, being so seasonally specialised, we've had
to wait an entire year for its DVD release, but tis the season once
again, and we can finally watch the adorable Arthur save Christmas
all over again.
Arthur is Santa's kind-hearted but dim
and clumsy son, forever in the shadow of his military-minded brother,
Steve, who has been at Santa's side for years, slowly turning his
century's old traditions into a high-tech operation.
When Santa's reputation is threatened,
however, it's Arthur's traditional approach and true love for the
holiday that sees the spirit of Christmas saved for children all over
the world.
It may be a children's film but Arthur
Christmas will have adults laughing from start to finish and the
techy twists and army of SWAT team elves will please 21st century
kids.
