Thursday 30th August, 10.30pm
Channel 4
Starting from tomorrow Australian stand-up comedian, Adam
Hills, will be presenting an alternative review of each day at the London 2012
Paralympic Games.
Channel 4 and the razor-witted Smith are a match made in
Paralympic coverage heaven, as the Perrier award-nominated comic has infamously
incorporated his own prosthetic leg in his Logie Award (Australia’s answer to
the Baftas) winning routines and is sure to take a more acerbic approach than
his BBC counterparts.
Along with his side-kick, Josh Widdicome, and guests from
the world of sport and entertainment, Adam will be poring over GB’s Paralympic
team’s nail-biting finishes and breath-taking performances, as well as taking a
frank look at the intricacies of disability in sport.
