If you can’t remember Paranormal Incident’s cinema release, it’s because it didn’t have one: alarm bell number one.

In fact, this ‘thriller’ only enjoyed a limited release in the U.S but, not wanting us to miss out, it’s found its way into our summer DVD releases.

Alarm bell number two sounds to alert us to the fact that this was written and directed by a cameraman, and it was his first shot at both disciplines.

If you’re still interested, Paranormal Incident follows a group of unknown actors posing as paranormal enthusiasts in an abandoned insane asylum.

There’s no gore, no big scares and no explanation for the 180 turn in the final scene.

Good for a laugh.
