The third series of the award-winning childrens’ television
series, Horrible Histories, is finally available on DVD, allowing older fans to
watch in privacy without having to be seen on the CBBC channel.
Included in the twelve episode series are some Medieval
Knights testing out new and disgusting ways of attacking a castle, Louis XVI
and Marie Antoinette signing up for Historical Wife Swap and Henry VIII
competing on Aztec Come Dine With Me.
As ever, the talented team of actors and writers have
ingeniously highlighted the most sensational, humorous and gory aspects of
history, breathing new life into a subject with a dull reputation.
