Picking up where
Bridesmaids left off, Pitch Perfect is the latest all-girl cast,
femme-comedy to make it big and prove you don't have to indulge in
blokey toilet-humour to entertain a cinema full of adolescents (and
slightly low-brow grown-ups).
A Tony award
nominated director (the guy who brought us the puppet musical ,
Avenue Q) and a script full of musical interludes makes Pitch Perfect
the happiest, clappiest viewing experience this side of TV's Glee.
The newly released
DVD is perfect age appropriate viewing for under 15s sleepovers, or
slightly over 15s self-indulgent trashy evenings in.
